2. The short version
This is a simple personal website. It uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no social media plugins and no contact forms. Fonts are hosted on this server, so no data is sent to Google or other third parties when you visit.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers in the EU. When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical data in log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the referring URL, and browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and stable website). A data processing agreement with IONOS is in place. Log files are deleted after a short period, as set by the hosting provider.
4. Contact by email
If you write to me by email, I process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). I delete the data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Emails are processed via the email service of Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland. Switzerland has an adequacy decision of the European Commission, so an adequate level of data protection is ensured.
5. External links
This website links to other websites, for example LinkedIn, pinoway.de and inviola.eu. Data is only transferred to these providers when you click a link. Their own privacy policies apply there.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
